Unity FWF 1/20 and Ippity Chicks Sketch #14

I'm kind of bummed. All of my plans for today and this weekend kind of fell apart... my daughter wants to go to spend a night with my parents, so we can't go up to the lake like we planned since they can only keep her one night. My littlest and I were supposed to have a play date with a good friend and her son today, but her eldest got sick, so she had to cancel. Perhaps that means I will get more time than I anticipated to make cards? I hope so. Another day and another couple of cards closer to my spending freeze ending. LOL!

I sat down to make a card for the Ippity Chicks sketch challenge and thought I'd make a Valentine for my DH, and then figured I'd link if for FWF as well. Triple duty... just hope he likes it! And I get total bonus points for doing it before FEBRUARY. I mean, seriously. I should treat myself to a new scarf or something in celebration.... anyhow, moving on:

I used Ippity's Loads of Love and All things are Possible. The paper is Basic Grey and the rest of it is who knows what. :) I really liked the contrast of the very geeky, eccentric paper with the braided trim.

Be sure to stop back to the Unity blog and comment away to try to win some Unity stamps! Did you see the 39% off sale, too? 'When Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.' I interpret that to mean, BUY STAMPS. :)  And totally join in on the sketch challenge, too - sooo fun!
