LWD Design Team Showcase: Pink Paislee Snow Village Collection

Hello there! It's me again, showcasing the lovely and very chic Pink Paislee Snow Village line today for Lone Wolf Designs.

Since it's that time of year - Advent - I thought I'd show you a few different designs for gift card holders. We give several gift cards during Christmas (and throughout the year!). Each year we give our daughters' teachers gift cards - usually to Target - and I like finding fun ways to present them.

My youngest's preschool teacher is going to l.o.v.e this beanie holder. The pattern is so 'her'!

PP: Snow Village paper
Stampin' Up clay rosette (colored with marker)
ribbon unknown
You can find the tutorial here. I didn't add the pom-pom on top as I was picturing more of a cloche than a beanie. :)

This next gift card holder is very simple to make! Let me first show you my sad first attempt:

This is why you ALWAYS, ALWAYS do a test spray of any mists or sprays. GRRR.  But isn't that little keep calm image cute? It's included in this page in the 6x6 pad:

Okay, so then I tried again with another of those cute little 1x1.5" squares:
PP: Snow Village paper
Stamps: PP Snow Village
Ribbon: Stampin' Up
Card stock: Gina K

Cute, huh? I stamped the 'Dec' and '25' from the coordinating Snow Village stamps.  You can find a tutorial here for this holder. These are small and go together very quickly!

This one is super fun. I think kids would love this! Heck, my husband loved it. :)
The ribbon works really well... that way you don't have to worry about your
closure band needing to slide off and your card front getting in the way!
You can find that tutorial hereHere is the inside:
PP: Snow Village
Card stock: Bazzill
Ribbon: unknown

Lone Wolf Design DT Showcase: Lawn Fawn, a little Pink Paislee, and Tattered Angels

Happy Friday, everyone! It's me again with another Lone Wolf Designs product showcase... and yes, I just can't get enough of Lawn Fawn! I was inspired at Scrapfest @ the Mall of America in September, so... I went home and placed an order for some more LF goodies (see the link at the bottom of the post for how you can order and save!!) and then I had fun making some stuff.

Did you know that Christmas is only 60 days away

I also picked up some Tattered Angels glimmer mist at Scrapfest. I thought it might be fun to add some mist to some of my projects... and holiday was the name of the game.

I had such fun playing with the newer Tag, You're It Lawn Cuts and coordinating Winter Gifts stamp set!

I stamped the background with some of the smaller stamps from Winter Gifts and colored in the leaves and berries. I stamped the banner tag on patterned paper and added one of the Winter Gifts sentiments, a little twine, and then assembled and misted!

This is the glimmer mist I chose:
It's sugar maple, which is a lot less orange than it looks in the photo, thank goodness! It's a really pretty copper tone. :)

The Lawn Fawn make & take I did last month used the jar from Summertime Charm (and coordinating Lawn Cut die) to make the bell jar into a snow globe. Adorable, right?? I added a little kraft envelope behind the green panel so you could add a gift card! The sentiment is from Let it Snow and I embossed it in gold to go with the pretty Pink Paislee snow village paper. :) I added a little clear Stickles to the snowflakes as well.

Then I realized I had an abundance of Lawn Fawn winter sentiments, so I decided to make some subway art tags.
And then I just used the Winter Tags stamps and dies to find the best placement and cut out two tags!
I sprayed them both with the Tattered Angels mist. SO pretty with the red ink! The top banner die is another cute little tag I made.  It would easily attach to a small gift bag, and doesn't even need to be a holiday gift... win/win!
And one tag I put on a card. How fun is that? This paper is also by Lawn Fawn.

The Tattered Angels mist is shimmery and it does rub off a bit on your skin... just an FYI for those who do not care for glimmer/glittery products! The shimmer is subtle and though it takes a little practice to get your spritzing just right, it's fun!

Here are two bonus tags... they kind of got sprayed by accident (yeah, I'm not at my best after 10 pm. I'm more of an early bird) but I actually loved the end result. These are Pink Paislee stamps and paper (cut using the Lawn Fawn largest tag die). I used the stamps from the Snow Village set and a little tag from the Snow Village paper pack for the bottom tag. The top tag was one of those "happy accident" tags... I stamped in a color that wasn't quite what I wanted, so I shadow stamped over the top with a neutral color and then I kind of liked how it made it look more aged... and then a tiny bit of glimmer mist at the edges gave it even more of an antique look. Bonus!

Now, I know you are thinking "this would be so fun and easy to make a whole bunch of holiday tags at once. I should really call my sister/my mom/my best friends and plan a little coffee and crafting time to get started on holiday stuff."  You are correct, you will also need something chocolate, and you're welcome. :)

Have a GREAT weekend, friends!
