I've been stretched!

I signed up to participate in a 'secret sister' thingie on one of my favorite cardmaking forums and the challenge for April is to send something 'altered' to your little sister. Basically, the idea is to take some existing object (a notebook, tin, case, pail, you name it) and alter it so it looks totally different.

Whoa. I've never done the altered object thing because it seemed... well, hard. And complicated. However, I like doing the challenges, so I youtubed for a bit and then headed to Target to buy a couple of composition notebooks. Remember what a plain, black composition book looks like?

Retro, don't you think?

I also got some business cards in the mail today, so I made a little box (the template is called a mini pizza box) to hold them at the store. I think it turned out really cute:

What do you think?
