I tried this week's sketch challenge over at the OWH stars & stamps blog and I'll show you my card, but I confess that I don't like it:
Details: Unity stamp, Papertrey Ink DP and SU cardstock with Momento Ink and random brads from my stash. I paper pieced the stamp's curtains and awning and then colored in the flowers and teacup.
So I changed up the sketch a bit, and used my brand spankin' new Unity "Undeniably You" set, and other than the slightly crooked sentiment (grrrrrrrrr!), I love it:
Other details: bling from the dollar spot at Joann's, twine from the Twinery, Momento tuxedo black ink and random DP and cardstock. I sponged the edges of the oval with a pigment ink in gold and adhered it with dimensionals.
It's Tuesday and it feels like Monday, since we came back from out of town yesterday. I have a feeling this week is going to fly by! My sister and her kids leave on Thursday. I think I miss them a little already. :(

Adorable cards, Jen! I like the first one, but the second one is just darling - love the twine. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it Both of these cards are adorable but I really love the Unity set..yikes cute!
ReplyDeleteJen, I get it about not liking a card - I do that too. But I have to say I like the first card very much and the second is just wonderful! Someone out there is waiting for THAT first card to send to a loved one! Blessings.
