Unity Friends with Flair 7/8

I'm so glad it's Friday! We had a looong weekend at the lake for the Fourth of July and didn't come home until late Tuesday, and I've been 'off' all week. It doesn't feel like Friday, but I'm hoping I can try to reset my mind and get back on track for Monday. It's a thought, anyway. Otherwise I guess I'll get back on track when school starts again? That's an option, too. :)

I partook of TWO Unity sales and confess I had to ink up my new stamps right away, laundry and dishes be darned. :)

Stamp set: matching socks
Random cardstock and DP scraps
The Twinery twine, Momento Ink

I can see myself making lots of these cards for my mommy friends. :)

And then I got my new Jillibean Dutch Mustard Soup stamps today and had to wear them in, too:

CS from Stampin Up; DP from Papertrey Ink
SU! inks and Versamark for the hearts; random brad, circles cut with nesties and the house is popped up on dimensionals

I adapted a sketch from Operation Write Home for this card. I send them cards every month (well, that's the goal anyhow) so that our service men and women can keep in touch with their loved ones here at home. Have you read about their work? Check it out; it's totally warm fuzzies for cardmakers.

Thanks for looking! Be sure to head back to the Unity blog so you can see all of the FWF entries... and head on over to the Unity store for the Itty Bitty sale too! :)

  1. Hi Jen! Very lovely cards!! I can totally understand the excitement when new stamps arrive ;) I'm that way too. I love that you send cards for such a great cause every month. So very thoughtful and kind. (I really wish I could contribute the many cards I make to a good cause where I live...)
    Have a lovely Friday!
    Hugs, Kary
