Unity FWF 7/22 - lunchbox notes

My eldest is starting kindergarten in 4 (!!!!) weeks. I was talking to my sister about it, and she mentioned how she writes notes on her kid's lunchbags or tucks a note inside that they'll find during lunch. Of course, I think that's a FAB idea and of course I volunteered myself to make her some little note cards that she could use instead of just a Sharpie. :)

Her youngest kids are 8 and 11, and boys, so I have to be creative with things that aren't too childish or embarassing. I don't have boys, so I'm trying my best. LOL I thought this little guy was simple enough, and boyish with a nice deep orange:















Unity monkey stamp - I think I got him in a grab bag
Mandarin twine from the twinery, scrap of cardstock
I rounded and inked the edges, too.
3x3 card, the monkey is popped up on dimensionals

    cute monkey!! I created some Halloween tags that were meant for goodie bags that didn't happen, but my son (in grade 1) loved them, so for a few weeks I would put one in his lunch box with a little note on the back - he thought they were great! and I keep meaning to make more little love notes.

    Are you kidding me?!?! This monkey is adorable. And I think you could make billions of these little notes :) Super cute! I think I shall need to make some for my staff!

    This is so adorable with that cute little monkey. I think you have nailed the colours for a boy's card.....boys are always so much harder than girls.
