Unity FWF 11/4 - with sympathy

Happy Friday, everyone! We had a nice, long weekend last week and I missed FWF. My daughter had no school on Thursday and Friday so we got to spend FOUR days relaxing at the lake. It was heavenly. :)

Sympathy cards are so difficult. I do love how the flower came out, though, and the frame is SO pretty when you emboss it! It's worth the mess. Hehe.

There is a TON of great stuff going on at the Unity site. Be sure to stop and fill up your cart... I'm doing the same. :) Don't forget to check out the blog for all of the FWF projects, too!

This card is a whole lot of random. The stamps are Unity KOM
July 2010. That's what I know. Sorry!

  1. Jen, It's a shame we ever even have to make a sympathy card, but we do. This one is extremely nice and I'm sure it will make someone feel a bit brighter. Your flower did come out very nice and your embossing is very tasteful. Thanks for sharing.

  7. Beautifully elegant! I also have a really tough time with sympathy cards but I think a handmade card from the heart will always bring the recipient more comfort than a store-bought one any day.
