OWH VCMP: Sand & Sea challenge - love is the thread...

Slowly but surely I am working my way through the VCMP over at the Stars & Stamps blog (well, except that masculine boat one. I don't have ANYTHING that would work for it. LOL).

This one is "Sand and Sea" - use browns and blues on a card. I am making some card kits for assembling when we are up at the lake this weekend, and this one fits the theme. I was trying to use sketch 83 but I cut the pieces wrong. I salvaged it anyway, I think. :)

Waste not, want not, right? Though part of me was tempted to just recycle all those little pieces.... :)

    As I recall, this sketch gave me fits with the pieces, too. Like you, I try to make it work! I think this does work- no one would know it didn't come out as you planned. I love the stitching combined with the sentiment!
