I just sent my muscle man box off to Kris, but I didn't reach my goal of 250 - so I'm still making a few more and hoping to get a smaller package out to her again by the end of the month. Hey, I think I can, I think I can... And since the MWT challenge over at the Stars & Stamps blog is to make Fathers' Day cards, well, hey! I can do that. :)
This DCWV guy stack has some really great masculine papers. This houndstooth is nothing extraordinary, but I really like it, especially with the jute ribbon. Which, by the way, Reasonable Ribbon sells in 25 yard spools. Just in case you were wondering. :)
This is Verve's Father Figure stamp set. Can you tell it is my very favorite go-to stamp set for Dad cards? LOVE it.
Thanks for visiting me today!
Jen
Great card! It's a super sentiment and the jute ribbon is perfect with it!
ReplyDeleteJen this is a great stamp! Great work on getting the box off to Kris already! You rock. Hmmm and the ribbon is nice... a great touch for this card!
ReplyDeleteThat is really cool ribbon. I use single twine all the time, and now I will have to go shopping. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat card Jen, and I love that jute ribbon! It adds the perfect masculine touch!
ReplyDeleteJen, Wonderful card. I love that sentiment and your jute ribbon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip about the jute. And I see why you like this sentiment stamp...just perfect!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! You've taken a paper that's not so and made it fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing in our midweek throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
I love that houndstooth paper too! It looks terrific as a background for that awesome sentiment and the jute. Great card!
ReplyDeleteGreat CAS Dad card Jen. I love that jute ribbon. I will have to check out Reasonable Ribbon the next time I have some 'mad money' for crafting supplies. :)
ReplyDeleteI adore houndstooth so I loooove this card! 250 cards is crazy talk to me cause that equals about half a year for me. Great job!
