OWH MWT - every moment counts

Oh Wednesday, how glad I shall be when you are o.v.e.r.   :)

My good news of the day is that I procrastinated in calling the landscaping company to tell them that I had killed the new grass seed they put down. Why is that good news? Well, I had the BRILLIANT idea yesterday to buy a sprinkler, so not only could I easily water most of the backyard but the kids would love it, and for only $22 it felt like a bargain. I prayed, we watered, and the girls danced around in delight - and this morning we woke up to GREEN... tender, new grass shoots all over. Amen and hallelujah!

And I'm REALLY thankful I don't have to make that call. :)

Blue and yellow is the color challenge over at the Stars & Stamps blog today. I went vintage-y again without really meaning to... but I do love this sketch 126! Very easy and I love using big, bold sentiments. :)

Unity Stamp Co sentiment, papers by MME

Now that I am finishing up my older papers, I'm digging into the newer and fresher stuff. It honestly makes me want to recycle all those others..... instead, I am making card kits for when we go away on the weekends and I can put together multiples. Use it up and make it pretty.... loving that!

Enjoy today,
Jen

  1. Another really pretty one!! And your sentiment is a lot like mine, about moments being so important. (Great minds, lol) What a great idea about the kits! I always take stamps and my copics when we go to the OR coast or San Juan islands, but I never thought to make up entire kits ahead of time. It'd be like power scrapping!

  2. Oh, forgot to say, YAY for the grass! I love the image of the girls dancing in the sprinklers and especially love knowing kids can still enjoy such simple summer pleasures!

  4. Love this card! That sentiment is so perfect and exactly what we should all do more often. When our weather warms up, my kiddos will be out playing in the sprinklers too.

  5. You make the kid in me want to go buy a sprinkler for the 100 degree days we're having this week! Happy your lawn cooperated!

I haven't tried this sketch, but I love what you've done with it. I'll give it a go tomorrow! Thanks for sharing.

  6. This is a terrific card with nice soft colors. Sometimes card just take on their own look without out input, so you can't do anything but run with it.
