OWH sketch 125 - you are my missing piece

It's Sunday and time for another sketch from the good folks over at the OWH Stars & Stamps blog! I so look forward to the sketch every week... I've been trying to use some of my un-inked stamps on the sketches. I have more of those than I should admit! :(

Anyhow, I like the sketch this week. Sometimes those little boxes stump me but I thought of these great puzzle stamps my friend Sarah sent me awhile back and it all kind of fell together. I was going for "masculine love card." How'd I do?

The top one - I don't like the sentiment in the middle, but I started to put it down and now it'll tear if I lift it up. :( I like the bottom one the best; how 'bout you?

Thanks for visiting me today!

  1. Fun. I agree about the sentiment placement. I hate that sometimes things won't stick well when you want them to and won't lift when you need them to. TFS!!!

  2. I like them both, but I'd probably put my sentiment panel up further like the blue one too :) Love the puzzle themes!

  3. Very creative with the puzzle pieces and sentiments. Your middle sentiment looks fine, but I do like your blue card better. Hey-if ya can't move it, at least you used good adhesive!

  7. Thse cards are so cute! I like how they both turned out! I'm with you...if it could have been moved I would have changed the placement of the sentiment on the red card but it is ok the way it is. hint...lighter fluid works great for unsticking adhesive! I'm really bad about moving things around on cards & scrapbook pages when I'm creating!

  8. Lovely! I agree about the sentiment, and yes it always seems the one thing I want to move is the only thing that has actually stuck.

  9. These are fantastic, Jen! The stamps and sentiment are so cute--I haven't seen those, but I love them! I think the sentiment looks fine where it is--I would worry about ripping it, too! :)

  11. Great cards Jen! I think the centered sentiment is fine. It actually feels a bit more cohesive to me that it ties in with the band. These are nice for the guys. It's hard sometimes to make love cards that are not frilly. LOL You did great!
