Unity's FWF 8/17; Unity KOM sketch challenge

Woot! It's FRIDAY! Thanks for visiting me today! It seems like a long while since I've linked up for Unity's FWF. This has been the craziest week. Early in the week my older cousin visited from Las Vegas. I haven't seen him in 6 years! My suburban mom life couldn't be more different from his constant travels and excitement, so it was fun to catch up.

Then last night, I couldn't sleep and for some reason started thinking of making bread. I used to have a bread maker which I only used on the dough cycle, so I could make bread, or bread sticks, or rolls, or bagels... but it broke. I told myself not to buy another because I have a stand mixer that would work perfectly well to mix and knead, but - confession time - I detested how I had to set timers and stop and go mix, then let it rise, etc etc until it was done and so I stopped baking breads. I started thinking about finding a bread maker and finally fell asleep... eight hours later, after my daughter's swim lesson, we stopped at a rummage sale. $5 later, I had a bread maker and this afternoon we had the YUMMIEST breadsticks. Seriously good.

Anyhow, were was I? Oh yeah, Unity. I have a card today that fits for the August KOM sketch too! :)

I stink at starbursts, and since this paper had a crazy quilt vibe, I just went with it.
