Anyhow, it's time for sketch 136 AND the combined VCMP challenge to use punches, as this sketch is perfect for them.
I again went with the "unknown dp" and had the hardest time finding a coordinating cardstock color, so I layered it with Bazzill's walnut cream. I don't often do light layers, but I do think it works on this card:
SU snowflake punch unknown dp; bazzill walnut cream Hero Arts sentiment |
I found this SU snowflake punch at a rummage sale this summer for $3. I think it will get a lot of use, and I think I will use this sketch to use up the couple of sheets of this snowflake paper. :)
Thanks for visiting my blog today! :)

Very nice Jen! I like the varied positioning on the snowflakes much better than the straight stack in the sketch and the way you have them overlap the edge adds interest. I don't own this punch but may try a leaf punch instead. Enjoy the rest of the VCMP!
ReplyDeleteI like the layering with the light color - I think you should make up your unknown paper into htese cards -

ReplyDeleteJen,k That snowflake punch is a favorite of mine. Your papers are just lovely and also your sentiment.
ReplyDeleteJen...your card is gorgeous. Some cards I lay light and some dark...the light is perfect for this card...really helps pop the sentiment! I wish I had that punch! Thanks!
