Sandy, the OWH president, sent out a challenge to team up with a crafty friend and start challenging each other to improve our skills. My talented friend Sarah and I are teaming up and getting ready to rock! Stay tuned for our January challenge. :)
I'm not making an entire list of goals like I did last year, but honestly, my main one is to continue to use stuff up and do more with less. Love what you have and use it, that's my motto!
Now, for the fun stuff. I will give away some Unity stamps and a grab bag of ribbon and embellies to one lucky commenter. Just tell me one of your crafty goals for 2013!
Jen
Lovely cards, like always, Jen. Your third card was one I admired when you first posted it! The 8th card is another favorite. Perhaps I have a thing for that paper! Your work is one of the reasons I started buying Unity stamps! Happy 2013!
ReplyDeleteYou're giving away Unity Stamps?! (clap clap) :)
ReplyDeleteMy only goal is to continue making cards for OWH and improve my skills by learning new techniques and color combinations. Those colors always challenge me the most ;)
Your ten best are all such great cards, but I'm thinking I like the "Aren't You Super" card the most. I love those tilted tags and especially the spiral punched edges! NJ on all!
Wow, great collection of creations from 2012! My crafty goals- use more of my stash, teach a couple more classes, make more cards for OWH with my K and 1st grade students.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! My fave is "the best things in life aren't things" card. That leaf is one of my fave Unity stamps and I love that paper. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThey're all a great list of favorites, but I like the light bulbs the best!
ReplyDeleteLovely bunch of cards. I really like that one with the aqua ribbon and the "aren't you super" one! My crafty goal is to use up my paper stash... so I can buy more!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the "Aren't you Super" card. Great for kids of any age.
ReplyDeleteMy crafty goal is to spend more time making OWH cards instead of interrupting the process for boutiques, etc. OWH card making makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteHi Jen! Your cards are always fantastic and these are particularly wonderful! I really love the lamp card. You find the most beautiful sentiments. Thanks for being so encouraging throughout the year; one of my resolutions is to leave more comments on everybody's blogs when they post their cards. I hope I can stick with it! I know how much it means to me. Happy New Year, Jen!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic cards as always Jen! I still love the 'shine' card!

I love your motto Jen, you're so right we need to love what we have and use it, that's part of loving it =)
ReplyDeleteGreat top ten cards today, can you tell I got side tracked?
Happy new year!
What a great motto!! I might CASE that, too!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! I love the colors and the variety. I want to use up my paper and make better use of my dies.
ReplyDeleteA terrific collection of cards!! I love the light bulbs card! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!! I love love love that lightbulb card - sweet!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year - and I hope you enjoy pairing up with Sarah!
Aren't you super... great card! Pat Kinkaid
ReplyDeleteI love that lamp! And the light bulbs are cute, too! Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! A great collection of cards from last year. I look forward to seeing more this year.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Jen! I love the snowman! My crafty resolution is to destash and get my crafty supplies back under control! They seem to have taken over! :)
ReplyDeleteI just want to be less of a perfectionist. I am often paralyzed, trying to finish a card that isn't "perfect". Thus, I have lots of things in the "bad card pile".
ReplyDeleteHi Jen, your cards are terrific - I really like the light bulb one and the tag card. I agree with your goal to use what I have and appreciate all the wonderful tools I have to use. Have a great New Year!
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of cards! Really love the lightbulb card - so clever!
ReplyDeleteyour lightbulb card is really great!!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors you use. I tend to shy away from more muted tones but you are inspiring me to rethink that!
ReplyDeleteI love the paper on the "Best things in life..." card. I like your stitching, or faux-stitching. It adds depth to your projuect. I look forward to another inspirational year following your blog. I'd like to say I'll be better at commenting but I still feel a little discombobulated spending my time in two places...
ReplyDeleteLove them all! What great colors and sentiments! Super work!! Thanks for being with us at OWH!!!
ReplyDeleteI want to continue to join in every sketch challenge and MWT for OWH. I would really like to get my Crap...I mean scrap room well organized. Your lightbulb card just seems to "shine". Keep up the great work...cannot wait to see what you and Sarah are upt to.
ReplyDeleteAwesome set of cards. I LOVE the light bulb card. I don't make resolutions....but I really want to make more cards. I've slacked off a bit (mostly because it's hard to craft when my son is out of school). And get more involved (with challenges, blog hops, etc). I always shy away from them. I guess more blogging too. ;o)
ReplyDeleteJen, like your motto!
ReplyDeleteAll your cards are great
my favorites are the
lamp and snowman cards
Beautiful cards Jen! Your lightbulb card would be great in a marshfield clinic ad ;) Thanks for the chance to win some goodies ~ my goal is to ORGANIZE my craft space so I can spend more time crafting and less time searching . . . Mary from Wausau
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards! I really like your "best things in life" card. Very Pretty! My crafty goal for this year is to make a huge dent in my paper and stuff stash. Fill more boxes for OWH and do more of the challenges. Whew! Happy New Year! LynnR
ReplyDeleteI love anyplace that I can get inspiration for my cards!!!!! Love that you included some of the Hero Stamps created for Operation Write Home!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have some neat stuff here! I especially like the lightbulb and lamp cards; I haven't seen those images before. The snowman card is really cute, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you - I need to try to use up the decorative things I have (designer papers, embellishments, etc.) rather than keep buying new stuff.
I do love the little graphic at the top of your sidebar about making pretty things even if nobody else seems to care! :) Thanks for making me smile.
Still catching up on the best of cards ... so glad I made it over here to see all of your super cards. Really love the "best things in life" card ... so very pretty. Happy Creating in 2013!
