Unity's FWF 1/18 -stick with me

Hey! Am I glad it's Friday. Are you?  My daughter has only a half day of school today so we can head out of town earlier than normal (and hopefully both kiddos will snooze in the car for a bit.)

Friday means FWF at Unity stamp co - you need to go link up your own project and then go shop the sale for me, k? I need to stock up on cardstock this week instead of stamps!

So before the card, a bit of story. K? My husband owns a small business with nine employees. Yesterday one of them was headed to a family member's funeral, so my husband pulled out his smallish box of cards (mostly birthday, sympathy, and some blank ones that I supply and replenish every 3-4 months) to grab a sympathy card for everyone to pass around and sign. A couple of the other employees were apparently all, "gee, I wish I could just pull out a box of cards when I need one... hey, did Jen make those? Do you think she'd make us some?" So now I need to get busy bulking up not only my card stash for the year, but also send a box of cards that they can choose from (and BUY. BUY them, people. Give me some crafting cash!! :)).

This stamp has been neglected lately so I made a funky washi background and layered it in black. I fussy cut the 'note' and popped it up on dimensionals.

Thanks for visiting me today! I hope you have an awesome weekend. It's going to be COLD at the lake, so we'll hang out inside with movies, crafts, and mommy's cards kits. :) Speaking of crafty cash, I also have a sale page up. You may also shop there, if you are so inclined. :)

  11. Great card. This is also one of my neglected stamps. Its funny how I make cards all the time, but too many times I don't have the one I need. Such a need idea for you husband to have on hand a selection of cards to choose from. I hope that you get some cash for your wonderful cards!
