Hello there! Pardon my recent absence; between our spur of the moment trip to Florida (heat! sun! princesses at every turn!) and then the adjustment of being back home and back to normal routines (school, cold, snow, ice, more snow), we tossed in another trip for my husband and a cold for my oldest and well, I'm stuck here at home for now. Can't take a sick kid to Mass... or anywhere else, really.
On the upside, the house is pretty clean, I've counquered the laundry and made lots of cards. :)
This is Operation Write Home sketch 168. I bought this pack of 12x12 paper in a pack of 25 sheets for 1.99 at a local dollar store. I love it but 25 sheets is a LOT, you know? So I am glad to see sketches where I can easily create multiples. :)

Great card, love how the world transportation paper ties in with your sentiment! TFS!
ReplyDeleteJen, this is a great card and the colors along with the designer paper are terrific for a guy. Nice job with this sketch. Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Jen! Hope N is feeling better! Love this card-- make a ton and cut that paper uuuuppppppp :)
ReplyDeleteNo fair - I have a sick kid, too, but my house is definitely not clean right now. LOL Great job on matching the papers to the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteGreat masculine card, Jen! I agree that using up the $1.99 packs of 25 identical sheets is hard work. Tuesday Morning always sucks me in with those packs and then I'm trying to find a way to use the last 20 sheets after my mojo's gone!
ReplyDeleteTerrific masculine card. Love how perfectly the DSP and sentiment goes together. Thanks for playing!
ReplyDeleteGreat card. Love those paper and embossing. Tfs!
ReplyDeleteGreat masculine card! I love all the brown, especially with the distressed embossed background. Bummer for having a sick kiddo. That's never any fun. And good luck using up all that paper. 25 sheets of 12x12 patterned paper would drive me crazy.
ReplyDeleteGreat card! Love the embossed background - it looks fabulous with the papers. The sentiment works perfectly too. I know how you feel about that $1.99 paper, I have some too.
ReplyDeletePerfect masculine card and thanks for the tip for using up older 12x12 paper pads! I am into 6x6 pads now and these 12x12's must be used asap!! TFS.
