January ODBD for OWH - stripes & hearts

There is a new Our Daily Bread Designs challenge up for Operation Write Home (don't know what that is? Go here and find out. Then link up your own card.) 

This month's challenge is to use stripes. Now, my office/craft space is a Disaster. Capital 'd' disaster. I've been spending 15 minutes a day the past few days to whip it into shape and it's much, much better, but not ready yet to create anything... luckily, I made this card back in November and saved a photo of it.


Supplies:
Stamps: paper smooches simply said sentiments
papers: my Mind's Eye, Gina K
Dies: Quickkutz heart dies
Ribbon: old - maybe American Crafts

Thanks for visiting me today! Stay warm - it's frigid here in Wisconsin, and school has already been cancelled for Monday. We're staying in!

    It's always nice to get two challenges out of one card. I'm glad you saved that photo so we could all get to see this fun card. All the papers go great together and I think the font on your sentiment really brings out the fun here. Great job. Oh stay indoors. It's cold here (-4) but nothing to what you are experiencing.

    Super cute card Jen! We're hunkered down here in MN as well. Our schools are closed on Mon. too. I'm glad, it's dangerous in these temps. Stay warm!!

    Yikes! Frigid here too... although a little warmup (up to 26) tomorrow. Nice card. And I like your motto, "making over my life for peace and joy in 2014". Bring it...
