Mother's Day Challenge for OWH

It's Wednesday and time for another challenge from Operation Write Home! The challenge this week is to make mother's day cards. I must admit I am barely keeping up with my to-do card list lately and I haven't even thought of mother's day cards! Oops! My card box, where I store cards for upcoming birthdays and events, is sadly sparse. I need to get creative and find the time to fill it back up, and also make more cards for OWH!

Anyhow, my first attempt didn't turn out so well so this is attempt number 2:
Card recipe:
SU solid cardstock and ink
DSP and ribbon unknown
Cuttlebug embossing folder in birds & swirls

Thanks for looking!
