OWH Sketch 62

Happy birthday to my mom, Judy, today - and OWH's leader, Sandy Allnock, as well! It's a good day to be born!

There's a new sketch challenge up over at the Stars & Stamps blog along with some OWH digis - be sure to check them out! The free digis are only for use on Operation Write Home cards.

There are a couple of sketches up this week - here are two of my faves that I made during naptime today:

Card recipe - Stamp from Unity's Live Simply KOM, SU DP
Hero Arts embellishments, American Craft ribbon

Card recipe: DCWV DP, cardstock scraps from the scrap bin,
stamps from  Unity colored with SU! pastels, punch from SU!

And then I had to include this one as well. For Christmas my five-year-old received some dimensional cupcake stickers. She has SO many stickers that I convinced her to make some OWH kid cards with me using the cupcakes, and I think they turned out really well! There were 12 stickers, so we made 4 cards in this color scheme. Whenever she sees me making cards she asks if it's 'for the soldiers'. :)

card recipe: DP and c/s from SU!, scallop punch from SU!;
stickers from Martha Stewart, American Crafts ribbon;
Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder

Enjoy the day and thanks for visiting! You should play along, too!
