This is my first time taking the Saturday sketch challenge over at Stamping411! I love this sketch and it feels like perfect timing, as I just learned how to make my own glue dots and ribbon flowers!
Here's my card:
Card recipe:
CS solids: SU and the blue is an unknown scrap; DP is unknown from the scrap bin as well (love that peacock and I wish I knew where this was from!)
Sentiment: Unity Stamp Co
Ribbon: American Crafts
I inked the turquoise background with turquoise ink and the pink edge with gold all the way around before layering it on the off-white background. The brown ribbon has teeny-tiny light pink polka dots on it to coordinate with the pale pink ribbon flower.
The instructions to make your own glue dots is here and ribbon flowers here. Both were surprisingly easy!
Thanks for taking a peek at my sketch try!
