There was a 'sticker skip' - like a very small bloghop - over on the Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps blog this past Saturday. The challenge was to use those stickers we all seem to collect in a way that makes a card beautiful, and not just like you sneezed stickers on it ('sticker sneeze').
My mom picked up these glittery dimensional stickers for me a few weeks ago when she went shopping. I had no idea what to do with them so I stuck them in a drawer, and then pulled them out for this challenge. Some of them are very pretty, though they aren't safe for OWH because of the glitter! I think maybe I'll make my mom some cards for her stash. :)
All papers are Stampin Up; Sentiment from Unity Stamp Co
I used Nesties to cut and emboss the blue circle the floral dimensional sticker is on, and then I stitched the edge of the card to hold it all together.
And for fun, this is what three minutes in my five year old's "hair shop" gets you:
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Like the card but LOVE the hairdo! HAHAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteNice card. Good reminder to watch out for stickers with glitter. Fun hairdo!
ReplyDeleteSimple but cute card!
ReplyDeleteThe hairdo brought back fond memories of when my boys used to "cut" my hair with the toy pliers from their Little Tikes workbench, LOL! Enjoy these days - unfortunately they don't last.
Great colors!
