OWH MWT - things with wings!

The challenge this week over at OWH is to create something with wings. I was gifted with these butterfly embellishments a few weeks ago, and around the same time I also picked up the DCWV Mariposa stack, which has some beautiful butterfly/bird designs. I've been pondering how to use them together for awhile now, but other things have gotten in the way. When I saw the challenge, I went immediately to grab both and see what I could create!

I wasn't sure at first about the mix of colors but now that it's done... I really like it! What do you think? Does it work?



















Card recipe:
DCWV - Mariposa mat stack, blue, black, and gold pieces are scraps
EK success edge punch
Recollections embellishment

    Nicely done! I also have the DCWV Mariposa matstack but haven't had a chance to create with it yet. I like your "bling" giving the butterfly motion.
