I swear, I have been creating with more than this color combo this week... Even though it may not appear that way! It took three tries to get a card I was pleased with, and just for kicks I thought I'd share all three.
First this one:
And it morphed into this:
And then this:
Al cards:
May 2011 Unity kom
SU ruby red ink
scrap cardstock, SU dp (for the last card, the flowers are paper pieced)
maraschino twine, the twinery
Scotch mounting tape
Do you ever have one of those moments (ha! Hours! Lol) where one fairly simple card ends up taking hours and multiple tries to get right? Maybe it's just me...
Oh, and my Target has a peelie coupon on the Scotch mounting tape in the office supplies section. Save $1! That's only $2.14 a roll, not bad for dimensionals. :)
Thanks for looking today. Be sure to hop back to the unity blog to see everyone else's creations and the $5 special. Then you just might want to check out the sale at unity!!

ReplyDeleteJen, All of your cards are great. It's amazing how you can made such different looks with the same images and/ or colors. Those colors are not something I would have picked mysef, but you made them look so good together, that I think I will start to use that combo from now on. Thank You I especially like the card with the musical notes and that sentiment. Thanks for sharing.
