OWH MWT - masculine cards

Go figure - this is actually Christmas paper, but it feels very masculine to me. I could see my dad sending this card to a hunting buddy of his, you know?

I used sketch #83 from the sketch challenges:

The red background is actually a piece of vinyl, I think. Don't ask me where it's from, I just dug it out of the scrap bin and thought, "huh. this would work."
Papers are Basic Grey Jovial collection,  sentiment is Lizzie Anne Designs and nesties labels 8 for the die cut.

I am incredibly scattered this week. See this cute face?

That's the face of epilepsy. My oldest was diagnosed this week. She's five. We are very busy learning all sorts of things to help keep her safe. Her class is busy learning that seizures mean people can fall down and get hurt, and if Nora has a seizure again in class, they have to go tell a teacher. They all thought the pictures of her 'brain waves' (the EEG printout) were pretty cool, though. :)

Come play along with the MWT over at the Stars & Stamps blog. And if you would, say a little prayer for us. I'm Tired with a capital T.

  4. Saying a prayer for you and your daughter. :)

I love the idea of using Christmas papers for something other than a Christmas card. That plaid is just like a cuddly flannel shirt!
