Okay, I am spatially challenged. It took me waaaaay longer than it should have to figure out this really very easy easel card. See the tutorial here over at the Stars & Stamps blog.
And now that I figured it out I'm planning a bunch of Christmas cards! These are so cute and quick, but they are really very cute.
I know Christmas deadlines have passed, but I figure this works as a love card for wintertime. And get it - "warmest thoughts?" It made me giggle, paired with that snowman!
Stamps: Unity stamp co (Mr. Frosty Itty Bitty, KOM sentiment)
Papers: First Edition Paper
Twine from the Twinery
I didn't like the thought of brads on this card, so I outlined the sentiment box with blue twine (it's a little hard to see in the photo). It's just enough to make the top part of the card stand up, and I think it looks cool!
Be sure to give it a whirl, too!
Jen
Jen, you are a better person that I, that's for sure. I didn't even get the courage to try this one yet. My hat is off to you. I think your card will bring a big, warm smile to someone on a cold winter's day.
ReplyDeleteThat snowman is adorable and I love the sentiment you paired with it!
