OWH Memorial Day bloghop

Welcome, friends! I'm so glad to be hopping for our heroes today. Do you know about Operation Write Home? If you don't, please click on over and learn how you can help our heroes keep in touch with home.

For this sketch hop I used #122; the one from just this Sunday. LOVE that sketch!
Stamps by Raisin Boat, swiss dot embossing folder

*Several people have commented on the ribbon. Yes, it was intentional, though I didn't buy it just for this card. :)

Now for the good stuff - FABULOUS stamps! I was lucky enough to win some Lawn Fawn stamps during the OWH Make 'em Laugh blog hop, so I chose a set just to give away to my OWH card-making buddies. :)
This is the Just my Type set:

I also have a bag full of random Unity Stamp Co stamps to give away.

Two winners! Is today your lucky day? Just leave a comment for a chance to win. I'll draw for winners on Tuesday!

Happy hopping!
Jen

  21. "giggling"... Your card with that sentiment is so funny. My husband and son are out golfing right now, it's a Saturday morning thing for them. Our 14 year old eats, walks and talks "golf".. I am going to look up that stamp and sentiment. Thanks for sharing your adorable card and for the giggle (ha ha)... Great giveaway.. I've never used any Lawn Fawn stamps before but have lots of Unity and love them! thanks for offering these up.

have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.

  22. Love the colors and texture. The sentiment is great - and makes one long for the leisurely-life of a retirement community were all one needs is a golf cart to tool-around in :) Mary, Wausau WI

  30. Oh what a fun and happy card! Gotta repeat it again... the ribbon sooo looks like a road. Did you do that on purpose or a happy accident? Oh the things I could do, other than golf, with a golf cart. THanks for the chance to win such wonderful candy.

  31. Ooohhhh, this starting to hit a little close to home. ;-) That green is one of my favorite colors. The use of the ribbon that looks like a divided roadway was the perfect touch. Thanks for taking part in the hop and showing your support of our troops.

  35. That is too cute!! I love that you decided to use that image with that sentiment. It especially made me laugh because although we don't golf (I always forget whether I'm supposed to hit the ball when the dragon's mouth is open or closed, lol) , we built a house on a golf course, so we're always having to watch out for those carts in the neighborhood. Boy do they go fast!!

The colors are so bright and cheery, and, as the others have said, the ribbon is perfect. I have that ribbon and have made some race car cricut cards, but I never thought to combine them. Thanks for the inspiration!
