OWH MWT - the red, white, and blue

Short and sweet - today's Wednesday, mid-week throwdown time over at the Stars & Stamps blog, and the challenge today is a patriotic card.  Voila! :)

K&CO patriotic paper pack, Unity's Unity in America stamp set

Adding in one more card for the VCMP 'sister card' challenge...

I punched the buttons out of white cardstock and inked them with red and blue ink, tied with some re-purposed twine and adhered with a glue dot. Very thin and easy to mail!

Now go play along... and thanks for taking the time to visit me!

  1. Very nice. Thanks for playing along on Stars and Stamps.

  2. Nicely done Jen!

Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!

  3. Looks like we both thought of flags when the word patriotic was announced! Great cards, and I really like those button accents!

  4. Jen,

Your cards are adorable! Love the papers -- and your clever way of adding flat, dimensional, and textural buttons.

Thanks for making a sister card for the VCMP challenge!

  5. I like those buttons! I really need one of those punches.

  6. Jen I am giving your blog the "Liebster Award". Details on my blog tomorrow. Crafty Colonel

  7. Hey Jen! These are two wonderful cards; I really love the stamp/sentiment on the first one. Great job.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
