First up is the Ippity Chicks sketch challenge. OKAY, okay, I didn't quite follow the sketch. I tried. It's kind of close. Maybe?

Then today, over at the OWH Stars & Stamps blog, there is "Christmas in July" challenge with making a cool card. I wanted this one to also work for the OWH Our Daily Bread Designs challenge for July (make a card in cool tones - blue/purple/green). This is bonus sketch 30, in case you had a burning desire to know. ;)

Hi Jen, with all this heat, we now can see winter coming and singing those beautiful holidays songs. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving the luv. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found time to get crafty! I love the ruffled twill on the first card, and the 2nd really is a "cool" card :)
ReplyDeleteYou were inspired by the sketch so you didn't have to copy it. That more than counts!
ReplyDeleteJen, two great cards. I'm not sure what the sketch was for your first card, but I like how yours turned out anyway. Your second card will be putting a lot of people in the holiday spirit, which is a very good thing.
ReplyDeleteThey're both great cards, but I especially love the 2nd one with the music. I was actually humming Christmas songs today while making mine. Which is waay too early! I do think I'm going to have to CASE that one!
ReplyDeleteThat winter card is so simple and the blue colors so wintry. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty Jen!
ReplyDeleteLove the distress look of the {ipptiy} challenge card and the cool simplicity of your second one!
Thank you for sharing!
Two great cards, Jen! Love your DP and cool winter colors of 2nd card!
ReplyDeleteNice blues on this card. I also love how you did the ribbon in your top card. Thanks for playing in the ODBD challenge this month!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
