OWH sketch 135 - i miss your face

Yesterday my husband and I attended the wedding of one of his employees. It was a beautiful mass and we had so much fun with the other staff at the reception. I even got my husband to dance - swing, we took lessons when we were dating and the only thing that stuck was swing dance - and it was great! Ahh, memories of our own wedding a lifetime ago (okay, almost 9 years. Feels like a lifetime... in a good way, of course!) :)

Today's OWH sketch and the wedding made me inspired to create some missing you cards. I inked up this new-to-me sentiment and dress, which is super fun:
MME All Spice and Crate paper - portrait collection
Unity Stamp Co stamps
Tim Holtz - walnut stain and scattered straw

This one doesn't fit the sketch but I was having a hard time finding the right sentiment for the mustaches until today. :)
Unity Stamp co sentiment, DCWV paper

Thanks for visiting me! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

  1. that is a very appropriate sentiment for your mustaches - cute.

the sketch card is great also - cute mannequin stamp

  2. Seriously... I am in love with these cards! I must find those stamp sets-- I LOVE the mustache paper with this sentiment--brilliant!

  3. Jen, both of these cards are fabulous. I think a "missing You" card is always the best for OWH cards. The papers on both of your cards are extremely nice. Glad to hear you had a nice time at the wedding. My husband hates to dace, but he says when we retired we will take lessons. He'll probably never retire!!!! LOL Enjoy your night

  4. Too that sentiment with the mustache paper! I seriously think we should somehow create on an ongoing list of useful OWH sentiments! Great sketch card! TFS!!!

  5. Cute cards, Jen! And funny :) Love them! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!

  6. Cute cards, great sentiment for both of them!

  7. I love the images with that sentiment! Makes me smile! And I really like the yellow border on the first card---I'm assuming it is a border punch!? very nice!

  8. Beautiful cards, Jen! I love how you used the same sentiment on a feminine and masculine card. Great showcase of versatility!
