Unity's FWF 8/24; Ippity Chicks sketch 43

Happy Friday! I hope your weekend is ready to kick off. For us, this is my husband's busiest time of year. We publish an independent phone book and the book has to go to the printer next week, so for now we see my husband only a few minutes each day. He does sleep, but I don't count that as quality time! It'll be September before we see much of him, but he's such an awesome guy. I think he'll appreciate finding this by his sink one morning. :)

Anyhow, I saw the new Chick Challenges sketch and I immediately knew what I wanted to do. In fact, I was tearing out this sheet of Crate Paper as I thought, "I should really dig through some more paper stacks..." nope. This card fell together in just a few minutes. I find that amazing - it sure doesn't happen often! LOL

Side note: does anyone recognize this sentiment? I thought it was Ippity but can't find the set name!

Ippity's Shine shine shine
Crate Paper dp and MME for the scrap, I think
Tim Holtz scattered straw distress ink
Momento tuxedo black ink

Thanks so much for visiting me today. Be sure to check out all of the blog links on the Unity blog, you'll be glad you did! Have a fabulous weekend, friends!

  1. Jen, Great sentient with the stamp. This will certainly "light up your husband's life" when he finds this. I, too, love to leave little surprises for my hubby. It's the little things in life that make such a wonderful difference. I truly believe that.

  8. Such a sweet card -- perfect for the light of your life. :) I _think_ the sentiment's from a KOM... I have it from a FWF goodie bag, but pretty sure I've spotted it with a big light bulb on the Unity site.
