With our super cold temps this week, it's hard to think of Easter and spring to make cards! (I'll fully admit to turning on Christmas music in September to get inspired, but I'm not sure how to "think spring" when it's -30!). The Operation Write Home challenge today is to make Easter cards, though, as shipping deadlines come early to ensure that cards can get to our heroes and back home to the US in time.
I got this cross stamp in a random bag from Unity Stamp Co, and I love it and have used it countless times. Did you see my paper-holic pictures from this post yesterday? I used up paper from one of the 'almost gone' baggies to make this card:

I liked the floral with the cross in red (how's that for symbolism, eh??). To me it says renewal and new life.
Thanks for looking!
Jen
Such a lovely card. I think I will give your sketch atry too
ReplyDeletePretty!!! I love the cards with a religious touch. I don't have many supplies in that way... I love how yours turned out. And yes, nice sketch or design!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card Jen. I like the clean, simple layout too. It really puts the focus on the cross image. Lovely!
